Ok food but the places smelled like sewage.

I was hopeful that I could find a good local Mexican restaurant, but this one was disappointing. The service was terrible. We sat there several minutes before we were acknowledged and after that the service was very slow. They seemed to be understaffed. The food wasn't any better and we will never go back. This was Feb. 21, 2018 at around 7 PM

New owners, new staff, great food. Before the food was always very greasy, it's not now. Fresh food and good!!!

Admittedly it's been several months since I've been here but service and food have always been on par. Always a good experience but doesn't necessarily stand out.

I think I have finally found the Mexican restaurant for me. The Customer service was good, the food was excellent. Thin, crispy chips and not oily at all. Salsa had a kick but not too spicy and was a good consistency. My friend had a #3 lunch special for $5.50 and he said it was all good & fresh tasting food. I had the shrimp fajitas $8.50 and they were good. I ordered a small thing of Pico de Gallo on the side and it was only 75 cents. Thats very inexpensive. Then we had dessert. Pretty much a chocolate taco with strawberries & cream. Omg

Excellent Mexican food! This is a rare case of a Mexican restaurant that is better than the norm. I usually stick with the traditional dishes, but on our last visit my wife tried the chicken soup (not something you ordinarily order at a Mexican restaurant) and was delighted. Staff is friendly and focused on keeping you happy. Only negative that comes to mind is the slightly awkward parking. If it is crowded, park in the Publix lot and walk a few feet, then buy something from Publix to show your gratitude. :)

Tortilla soup not on the menu but was requested and it was delicious. Chips are light in texture and salsa taste homemade and not like cheap tomato paste. The chicken fajitas were very tender and delicious. I was told it was under NEW ownership. Worth a try if your in the Springville, AL. area. 😉👍

Loved it... Food portion was big for lunch menu price! It was actually clean, food was delicious. Waitress was very friendly.

Just ok. All of the servers were new, so they didn't know much about the menu, but they were friendly. Chips tasted maybe like they'd been cooked in old oil. Fajitas didn't have a lot of flavor, but the helping was huge! Guacamole was excellent. I've definitely had better Mexican food, but I'm sure we will be back because it is close to where we live.

Much better now that it's Kiwis. My food was very good. I had the Kiwi Burrito.

Best waitress ever - Answered every request, went above and beyond. Food was great. Drink specials on margaritas were amazing. Its funny, we went not knowing which Mexican to choose in the area and chose there first and they were amazing. 5 stars. We're still going to check out the other...

Awesome place. First time eating here. Excellent service, awesome decor inside. Ordering the chicken and steak fajita quesadilla. I've had these 100 times and this is the best one so far. The meat is actually seasoned really well instead of being just simply cooked. Anyone wanting some Mexican food is missing out if you don't eat here.

Food was not hot today. Soft tortilla was half hard.

The food here is always excellent. Fresh and prepared when you order. Salsa is wonderful. I think they could use another server though as every time we've gone there was only one and the restaurant was quite busy. On the whole it's one of my family's favorite places.
